Amazing location in the old longleaf tree forest, with plenty of sunshine. Tranquil and quiet atmosphere, yet close to the town. New and fresh hotel with high standards throughout the building. Tastefully decorated rooms with shaded balcony. Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a beautiful view and quick, attentive service. Fantastic communication with the owner, who shared local history and culture. Friendly staff, spacious and comfortable rooms. Marvelous garden, bigger and better than a five-star hotel. High-quality toiletries, high-tech shower, complementary water in the room. Good, authentic food prepared in the kitchen. Family atmosphere and potential for entertainment in the restaurant. Free parking, flat-screen TV, laundry facilities, table tennis and darts, hiking and cycling options. Bar/lounge area, children's play area, children's menu, cots, and board games available. The room had a private bathroom with bathrobes, slippers, and a shower. It felt like a fancy spa! I loved the balcony in the double room, it was the perfect spot to enjoy my morning coffee. The washing machine in the double room was a game-changer for a messy traveler like me. Having a flat-screen TV in the double room made my lazy evenings even better. The minibar in the single room was a pleasant surprise, perfect for late-night snacks.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the free toiletries in the private bathroom.

The room was spacious and had high-quality amenities, including branded linen and towels. The shower was high-tech and worked perfectly. The staff was friendly and supportive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options. The highlight was the beautiful garden, which was a perfect spot to relax. the location was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.
While the room was clean and well-maintained, there were a few signs of wear and tear that could be improved upon. The balcony could have been cleaner, as there were some empty bottles and cans left by previous guests.

Personally, I didn't find much use for the washing machine in the double room. But I know some guests might appreciate the convenience.

As youngsters, we absolutely loved staying at this hidden gem in the forest. The inn had a magical ambiance that made our stay truly enchanting. The attention to detail and high quality of everything, from the room to the restaurant, impressed us. The best part was the amazing shower and the value for money we got. Exploring the old forest on the bikes was a thrilling experience, and we even spotted a bear! The handmade decorations added a unique touch, and the balcony provided a peaceful retreat. The outdoor hot tub heated with firewood was the cherry on top. it was an unforgettable stay for us.
Felt exceptional, no complaints.
